5. Batanes



Batanes is an archipelagic province in the Philippines, administratively part of the Cagayan Valley region. It is the northernmost province in the country, and also the smallest, both in population and land area. The capital is Basco, located on the island of Batan.


What is Batanes famous?


It is known for its scenic waters and terrain and clean environment. Batanes is also recognized for the unique culture of the islands' first settlers, the Ivatans. Batanes is open for swimming, snorkeling, diving, lighthouse visits, biking, and visits to century-old Ivatan houses.


4. Camiguin Island



Camiguin Island is amazing. A volcanic island where you can enjoy snorkeling and diving, visiting waterfalls. Our favorite places were White Island and beautiful sand bar and Mantigue Island with its crystal clear waters. You can see coralsand fish even while riding a boat. There’s a wide variety of fish species that lives in the crystal clear water surrounding the Island.


3. Guimaras Island



Guimaras locally, officially the Province of Guimaras is an island province in the Philippines located in the Western Visayas region. Its capital is Jordan. The province is situated in the Panay Gulf, between the islands of Panay and Negros.


What is Guimaras known for?


Guimaras is well known for its agricultural crops, particularly the mangoes, where some +50,000 of these trees are planted. The island province is famous for producing one of the sweetest mangoes in the world, thus earning the nickname "Mango Capital of the Philippines" from local and foreign tourists.


2. Linapacan Island



Linapacan Island, Palawan. This Island is situated in the northern tip of Palawan. Due to its clear water and sand bar, the website named Daily News Dig in 2013 has included Linapacan Island as one of the top 35 waters to be swimmined around the world before dying.

Balabac Island is the southernmost island of the Palawan province, and therefore the westernmost undisputed island in the Philippines, only about 50 kilometres north from Sabah, Malaysia, across the Balabac Strait.


What is Balabac known for?


Balabac is known for it's wonderful lighthouse that was built during the Spanish era called The Cape Melville Lighthouse. The tower was made of granite and has a 90ft. (27.4) tall, located in Balabac island. It is one of the evidence of how rich Palawan is in historical sites that were built hundreds of years ago.
